The Amancio Ortega Foundation, in collaboration with the Santiago Rey-Fernández Latorre Foundation, has been promoting the Proyecta plan since the 2012/2013 school year. The program has recently been renamed after one of its most well-known events, Inspiratics; an educational platform specialised in the use of methodologies and technology in education aimed at high school teachers.
On a quarterly basis, this platform offers lectures and face-to-face workshops carried out by experts in educational innovation. It also disseminates on its website educational resources, articles and video tutorials that can be accessed by the entire Spanish-speaking teaching community. More than 8,000 educational professionals follow the activity of the platform on a daily basis through its social networks. A significant number of them are from outside of Spain.
This platform has also been the driver behind the Proyecta Innovation Competition, aimed at making projects to improve learning in the classroom a reality. It is also the driver behind the First D&I Competition that awarded the Spanish teacher with the most outstanding experience in educational innovation in 2016.
