AMENCER-ASPACE (Special Education and Therapeutic Care Center)

In January 2018, the Amancio Ortega Foundation signed an agreement with the Vigo City Council and the AMENCER-ASPACE association for the construction of a center for special education and care for people with cerebral palsy and related pathologies. These new facilities, which are scheduled to open in 2019, will have a total of 60 educational spots and will also offer more than one hundred personalized outpatient therapeutic services daily.

The AMENCER-ASPACE association was founded in 1991 by families of people affected by cerebral palsy and/or related pathologies. It currently serves 110 users from 0 to 65 years of age in the province of Pontevedra thanks to a team of professionals made up of 51 people.
