Social area

In January 2018, the Amancio Ortega Foundation signed an agreement with the City Council of Vigo and the AMENCER-ASPACE association to build a special education centre for people with cerebral palsy and related disorders. These new facilities, which are scheduled to open in 2019, will have 60 educational spots and will allow over 100 daily personalised outpatient therapeutic care services to be offered.

The AMENCER-ASPACE association was founded in 1991 by families of people affected by cerebral palsy and/or related disorders. Currently, it provides care to 110 users from zero to 65 years old in the province of Pontevedra thanks to a team of 51 professionals.
