Housing assistance programme in collaboration with Cáritas
In April 2023, the Amancio Ortega Foundation and Cáritas reached an agreement to help improve the situation of more than 15,000 people throughout the country with difficulties accessing housing. Actions were implemented to alleviate the problem through the collaborative project "Una vivienda, un hogar".
The funding that the programme provides helped the most needy families pay for a number of basic services, including rent and basic utilities (electricity, gas or telephone) and, specifically, the retrofitting of housing conditions for a significant improvement in terms of energy efficiency.
